Accessibility and a New Generation of High-Stakes Tests

The purpose of this webinar is to provide an update on the work of the four consortia to develop a new generation of high stakes tests that are scheduled to begin being administered in the 2014-15 school year. Particular attention will focus on practical logistical issues that accessibility specialists in schools will need to address as the new assessments are implemented.

After this webinar, you will be able to:
- Identify the relevant consortia that their state belongs to and demonstrate how to access relevant policy and implementation /> - Facilitate local conversations concerning roles and responsibilities for assistive technology interventions during the computer-based assessments.
- Review and update IEPs concerning accessibility interventions that will be necessary for each child to access and participate in the new assessments.
