Learner Outcomes:

  • Explain why content literacy is an important construct to understand when implementing tiered programs in secondary schools.
  • Describe evidence-based interventions at each level of the CLC.
  • Describe the important role of speech language professionals in successfully implementing a tiered instruction program in secondary schools.

Presented by Barbara J. Ehren, University of Central Florida and Donald D. Deshler, University of Kansas.
